REGISTRATION 

The Professional Association of Social Workers in HIV/AIDS (PASWHA) is thrilled to invite you to the 38th National Conference on Social Work and HIV/AIDS, taking place May 20-23, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk.

This year’s theme, “Compassion to Action: Renewing the Spirit of Service in HIV Social Work,” reflects our shared commitment to advancing care, advocacy, and innovation in this vital field. Since 1987, this conference has been a cornerstone for professionals dedicated to improving lives and shaping the future of HIV social work. It’s more than an event, it’s a community. A place where we come together to share knowledge, inspire change, and strengthen our network.
 

Standard Registration — $725

Valid January 31 – May 23, 2026
Includes:

  • Up to 18 ASWB‑approved CE credits (valued at $500)
  • One-year PASWHA Membership or renewal (valued at $100)
  • One-year access to the PASWHA online learning library
  • Access to all plenaries, breakout sessions, and conference events

Presenter Rate — $550

Available only to presenters with accepted abstracts. Presenters will receive a discount code after scoring and acceptance notifications.

Includes everything in the Standard Registration package:

  • Up to 18 CE credits
  • PASWHA membership or renewal
  • One-year learning library access

Student Rate — $300

Single-Day Attendance — $200

  • Access to one full day of conference programming.​

Certificate Programs & Pre-Conference Opportunities

Medical Case Management Certificate (MCM) — $750

Limited to 50 participants • First come, first served

Strengthen your skills with a comprehensive MCM training aligned with HRSA guidelines and grounded in best practices.

Program includes:

  • 9 online training modules
  • 2 full-day in-person workshops (22 hours)
  • 11.5 hours of on-site conference training
  • LMS progress tracking

A three-day conference schedule outlines required sessions on May 20–22. Participants will still have access to all conference sessions and the Saturday closing plenary.
 

SOLHA Certification: Social Work With Older Persons Living with HIV/AIDS — $350

Available only through this conference.

Become equipped with trauma‑informed, person-centered approaches tailored to aging individuals living with HIV.

Certification includes:

  • Required Pre-Conference Workshop (May 20)
    • SOLHA Foundations
    • SOLHA Health
    • SOLHA Mental Health
  • Required breakout sessions during the conference
  • Post‑session knowledge assessments and reflective practice assignments
  • Guided tutorial on using the online learning platform
  • Final in-person wrap‑up session
     

Advanced Learning Intensives — $200 Each (This program is designed to fit seamlessly within your conference schedule.)

Deep-dive, skill‑building workshops held pre‑conference.

Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing by March 27, 2026. No-shows and requests received after this date are non‑refundable. Approved refunds will be processed within three weeks after the conference.

CE Credit Information

Collaborative Solutions, Inc. (ACE Provider #1548) is approved to offer social work continuing education through the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB). Social workers may receive up to 18.75 ASWB CE credits for conference participation. State/provincial boards maintain final jurisdiction over credit acceptance.
